All references to ‘The Real Ruler Height Chart Company’, 'The Real Ruler Co' and ‘our’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ are in direct reference to The Real Ruler Height Chart Company.
Where ‘you’, or ‘your’ is stated it should be interpreted as being in reference to those interacting with the www.realrulerco.com website.
These same guidelines apply to all events, fairs, advertisement, emails, to which we conduct.
WHEN MAKING A PAYMENT
When we recieve an order from you, it is carried out with confidence that our Terms & Conditions have been read and comprehended.
When you make an order via our website you are asking The Real Ruler Height Chart Company to supply the order acording to the terms by which your order is covered. Your order holds you to a binding contract with which we have the authority to either accept or decline at our will.
Upon placing and order, you will be required to supply your name, Paypal details, email address, address and contact number. This needed to process your order and for order confirmation. The contact phone number is requirred for courier purposes.
When you place an order, a means of confirmaiton will be sent to you, this however does not confirm that your has been approved. The contract we hold upon the sale of one of our products exists only after it has been dispatched.
Please be aware, we will not acknowledge any responsibility due to the motives below:
• the product is out of stock
• your payment has been rejected
• there has been a pricing error or products wringly described
• the fault or inavailability of the courier company
Please be advised that that if you choose to send a cheque by post that there could be a possibility that we may sell out of the product whilst the cheque is being cleared. If this occurs, we will reissue a cheque for the amount.
Should there be an issue with your order, we will contact you either by phone or email. If we have issues authorising payment we will contact you via email or phone and you will have 48hours to respond. Failure to do so will result in your order being cancelled.
We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any point.
Please note that we do not hold any payment details of yours and we cannot be responsible for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any information that you supply when accessing or ordering from the Real Ruler Height Chart Company website.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
International Delivery is available on all products.
Please email us at realrulerco@hotmail.com for a fast quote. This quote will be emailed to you and is made in accordance with the size and destination address of the order as per the delivery cost at the time of your order. However, should the volumetric weight be heavier when the parcel has been parcelled up we may ask for additional funds to cover the cost of the delivery.
Please ensure that you check all items on receipt, as faulty or damaged items must be reported 7 working days from the day after you receive the parcel.
DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
If you are not happy with products you have chosen and received, you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish under the Distance Selling Regulations, provided you exercise your right no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the products (excluding made to order/personalised items). Please note however that we pride ourselves on our commitment to the highest levels of customer service and will consider every situation on a case by case basis, subject to the situation, after this period.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
Should you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please contact us on realrulerco@hotmail.com or call 07790306220. Please note that there may be occasions when a cancellation request is received after an order has been processed and dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched we will be more than happy to offer you a refund provided that the products are returned complete and in ‘as new’ condition. Where possible we would ask that you return the items with the original packaging. This is not possible for personalised or bespoke items. Please note that, with the exception of faulty items or goods damaged in transit, we are not responsible for return postage. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will need to be able to return the goods you ordered to us to be able to exercise this right.
RETURNS POLICY
In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged or faulty please contact us on 07790306220 or email realrulerco@hotmail.com so we can arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund for you.
If you wish to return an item, with the exception of personalised & bespoke products, we need to receive it back within fourteen days of receipt for a refund or exchange. We ask that you please return the items with their original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights. As the goods are your responsibility until they reach our studio please ensure you suitably package your return to prevent any damage to the items or boxes.
With the exception of faulty and damaged goods we are not responsible for the return postage and do advise that you obtain a certificate of postage in case the parcel fails to reach us.
If you wish to cancel your order and return it to us, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you must let us know within seven working days from the day after receiving your parcel. This can be done by calling our us on 07790306220 or via email at realrulerco@hotmail.com. You will then need to return the whole order to us, at your own expense. Once we receive the whole order back we will issue a full refund including the original delivery charge paid. Please note this does not apply to the personalised or bespoke items which cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.
OUR ITEMS IN YOUR HOME
Once you have received your goods, it is your responsibility to hang, store and enjoy your products responsibly. Please ensure correct hardware is used when hanging your Real Ruler according to the surface onto which is it being hung. If it is in a high traffic area we recommend your secure it at the base to stop swinging. Please ensure children are supervised when measuring themselves.
WEB PROMOTIONS
Please note that only one promotional offer can be used at any one time.
All promotional codes remain the property of The Real Ruler Height Chart Company and we reserve the right to stop or remove a promotion at any time without prior warning. Whilst we will instruct affiliates to remove offers or promotions from their sites after their validity period as determined, we do not hold any responsibility for their failure to do so.

If you have shopped with us, we will hold your name, address, telephone number and email address. Credit card details are held by Paypal, our payment provider. The Real Ruler Height Chart Company does not have access to these. We will also hold the delivery address for your orders and the products which you have ordered.
SECURITY
We endeavor to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose online and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or willful default.
